Push: Ending the Diversity Standstill

  • The Riveter 1517 12th Avenue Seattle, WA, 98122 United States (map)

For more than a decade, AAF Seattle diversity panels have regularly discussed why diversity-focused hiring benefits agencies and creative work, yet for all our industry’s supposed awareness, empathy, and efforts, local creative organizations are often starkly imbalanced, especially in leadership positions. Why is progress so slow?

It’s time for a different kind of diversity panel, one that will address the palpable discontent surrounding minority hiring and advancement.

Our panel will speak transparently and frankly about their organizations' diversity/inclusion efforts, their original goals, where they went wrong, what went right, and what was learned in retrospect. We'll move on to observations about the current climate around diversity and culminate with new ideas for moving forward.

Join us for the kind of fresh thinking this important cause requires.
